Pick The Hit is a Queensland family business. Filling rooms, raising money for charity and giving people a great night out since 2017. With thirteen years of live entertainment already behind it.
Pick The Hit Entertainment is a Queensland-based live entertainment company running hosted Music Bingo, Trivia and Karaoke nights for pubs, clubs, corporate teams and charity fundraisers. Jesse Davis founded the business in 2017. Pick The Hit operates across South East Queensland, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, with corporate and fundraiser events available Australia-wide. Pick The Hit has run more than 3,000 shows since launch and helped Queensland charities and community causes raise over $500,000. The hosting team brings more than thirty years of combined live entertainment experience. Pick The Hit is a three-time finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards for Event Management (2024, 2025, 2026) and holds a 5-star rating across Google and social platforms.
Jesse built it from a simple observation: the best moments in a live entertainment room happen when the whole crowd is in it together. Not watching. In it.
Jesse Davis has been creating those moments since the age of 10. Thirty years of performing as a musician, a singer-songwriter, a country music artist who grew up in Caboolture and shared a stage with Keith Urban in 2013. Then years as a school chaplain and youth worker, learning a different kind of people skills. It comes through in every show PTH runs.
The business itself started in 2012 as Quizwiz Trivia, running three to six live trivia shows a week across Queensland venues. In 2017, Jesse spotted Music Bingo, a format barely known in Australia at the time, and launched Pick The Hit alongside Quizwiz. In 2020, the two brands merged into one. So when we say thirteen years of continuous operation, we mean it.
Today Pick The Hit runs 20+ weekly shows across South East Queensland with a team of contracted hosts. 690 shows in 2025 alone. It is what happens when someone builds something they genuinely love running.
Jesse Davis
Jesse Davis is the founder of Pick The Hit and one of its working hosts. A singer-songwriter, professional MC and live entertainer with thirty years on stage. Jesse started Pick The Hit after building Quizwiz Trivia from 2012. He is a husband and father of two, based in Moreton Bay, QLD, and still hosting shows every week.
