Pick the Hit Named Finalist in 2026 Australian Small Business Champion Awards - Three Years Running
We are thrilled to announce that Pick the Hit has been named a finalist in the 2026 Australian Small Business Champion Awards in the Event Management category. This is our third consecutive year as a finalist, and it is a recognition that means a great deal to everyone who has been part of this journey.
The Australian Small Business Champion Awards are now in their 28th year, recognising outstanding small businesses across 106 categories nationwide. Being selected as a finalist from thousands of entries across the country is something we do not take for granted.
What This Milestone Means
When Pick the Hit launched in 2017, it was one person, one microphone and a format that almost nobody in Australia had heard of. Eight years later, we delivered 690 shows in 2025 alone, work with a team of 10 contracted hosts, run over 20 recurring weekly events across Queensland and have helped raise over $500,000 for local charities and community causes over the past few years.
Being recognised as a finalist three years in a row is not just an award nomination. It is confirmation that what we are building here is genuinely making a difference, to the venues we partner with, to the players who come back week after week and to the communities we have had the privilege of supporting.

None of this happens without the people in the room. Every patron who has played Music Bingo on a Tuesday night, every venue that gave us a shot, every organisation that trusted us to run their fundraiser, and every one of our hosts who brings the energy every single week – this recognition belongs to all of you.
What Comes Next
Winners will be announced at two National Presentation Evening events at Sydney’s The Star on 1st and 2nd May 2026. We are proud to be representing North Lakes and Queensland on that stage.
In the meantime, we are not slowing down. With Karaoke now part of our offering, a record-breaking show count projected for 2026 and more exciting developments in the pipeline, the best version of Pick the Hit is still ahead of us.

As a small, family-run business, this back-to-back finalist recognition is an incredible honour and a reflection of our commitment to delivering top-tier Music Bingo, trivia, and professional MC services.
From Local Beginnings to Nationwide Success
Since launching in 2017, Pick the Hit Entertainment has grown from a local favourite in the City of Moreton Bay to a nationwide leader in interactive entertainment. With events running nearly every night of the week across pubs, clubs, corporate events, and festivals, we continue to bring high-energy, engaging entertainment that keeps people coming back for more.
Beyond entertainment, we are incredibly passionate about giving back to the community. Over the past year alone, we have helped raise an additional $175,000, bringing our total fundraising efforts to over $415,000 for charities and local causes—a milestone that fills us with immense pride.
